About: A user is anyone who logs into Surpass. Examples of a user might include content authors, invigilators or administrators.
This lesson explains the different types of user in Surpass, and demonstrates:
- how to create different types of users in Surpass;
- how to control access to different areas of the system;
- how to assign users individual permissions for specific centres and subjects.
For more information regarding User Permissions, see the factsheet below.
Objective: By the end of this lesson you will be able to create users in Surpass, and be able to assign them the appropriate role and permissions in the system.
Next Steps: Complete the other lessons in the ‘Setup’ course. You may also want to try setting up different users with different permissions, and see how this affects their experience of Surpass.
